I am Senior Director MDSR and lead this high performance culture team that focuses on papers, patents and product alike. Prior to joining MDSR, I was partner scientist manager at Bing Advertising, Microsoft India. I drive clarity and efficiency towards connecting business and products with latest and greatest in research. In my previous stint at Microsoft, I drove several innovations in the auction theory space driving both incentives for advertisers to bid truthfully as well as maximizing revenue and space-efficiency for the publisher. I generally see this as a principled approach for solving problems that concern behavioural economics. Additionally, I drove several initiatives and innovations around modeling and indexing multimodal data for information retrieval.

Currently at MDSR, we are driving several innovations around a) causal reasoning and simulations using VLMs b) social agents and personalization c) automatic website optimization using learning agents d) expediting experimentation through automatic hypothesis generation and attribution.
